Public Notice of Regular Meeting to Fill Vacancy
Please take notice that due to the resignation of Unicoi County Assessor of Property, Patsy Bennett a vacancy exits in this constitutional office. The Unicoi County Legislative Body will meet in regular scheduled session on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the Unicoi County Courthouse main courtroom in Erwin, Tennessee.
The legislative body will consider and vote on candidates to fill the unexpired term for Unicoi County Assessor of Property. The Board will at that regular scheduled meeting also consider and adopt rules of procedure for eliminating nominees in case of multiple nominations to this position.
Registered voters for Unicoi County, Tennessee, may submit names to the county legislative body for consideration. Those who wish to be considered to fill vacancy may submit their name and qualifications in writing to the Chair of the Legislative Body, Marie Rice in care of Unicoi County Mayor's Office, Unicoi County Courthouse, 100 N Main Avenue or P.O. Box 169, Erwin, TN 37650 prior to the meeting, or may be submitted in person at the meeting on the date and time specified above.
